Puuuh. Long time no hear! 

This is just a quick update on the “Light Gary”, and there will be more Blog-Posts soon again.

As you can see from the video I finished the making of it. That is Light Gary itself and its socket. I could do some more decorations and a panel around the 7-segments.
Also some more programming would add a bit more professional touch to the usage of the rotary encoders and its buttons.

But after all the long time it is in a reasonable finished state.

You also might have noticed that I just used the bread-boards I prototyped to whole thing on and not the custom-made PCBs.
Well, that is just out of pure fear. In case one of the PCBs would not be as good as supposed to be, or one of the soldering points would not be good … well I would have to do all over again.
